Welfare & Duty of Care Consultant
- Design of end-to-end, production-specific Mental Health & Welfare processes for on- and off-screen talent, assessing risk and ensuring Ofcom compliance.
- Provision of channel-specific guidance based on extensive experience (ITV, BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 & Amazon), including working with Under 18s.
- Production of compliant Duty of Care protocols, Contributor Experience documents, Mental Health & Welfare Risk Assessments, Social Media Guidelines, and Safeguarding paperwork.
- Liaising with production psychologists, commissioners, talent, and contributors throughout filming.
- Safeguarding expert with enhanced DBS – working with local authorities securing licences and supporting Under 18s on set as a Licensed Chaperone if needed.
- Delivering on-set and location welfare support in the form of a Wellbeing Facilitator – including report writing, logging & dealing with incidents. Experience across studios, UK locations, and internationally (Spain, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Barbados, and beyond).
- Advice on script sensitivity for triggering or complex content.
- Providing calm, discreet guidance through complex, high-risk situations, including serious allegations.
- Consultation on Artificial Intelligence (AI) use in film and TV, including advice on ethical considerations and how new tools can support wellbeing and duty of care.
On and Off Screen Wellbeing Facilitator
- Supporting the emotional and mental wellbeing of cast and crew, including child actors.
- On-set presence offering practical, evidence-based support like breathwork, resilience coaching, and stress reduction.
- Advising HoDs on creating healthier working cultures.
- Signposting to clinical mental health services when needed.
Psychological Support & Therapy Services
- 1:1 support before, during and after filming and post TX.
- Group sessions for processing challenging or emotional content.
- Tailored aftercare and therapy plans, including exit interview support.
On and Off Set Workplace Wellness
- Speaker, host, or facilitator for panels, webinars, and workshops across the industry, including events for ScreenSkills, BAFTA, RTS, WFTV, Edinburgh TV Festival, and ITV.
- Delivery of workshops on menopause, maternity leave, and breathwork for stress and anxiety and or bespoke workshops for broadcasters, indies, and corporate teams.
